From 29 to 31 July 2025, the 6th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education Technology (AIET 2025), hosted by the University of Barcelona and IU International University of Applied Sciences, was successfully held in Munich, Germany. The conference featured 13 parallel sessions addressing topics including: inequity and inequality in education; and the design, implementation, and evaluation of human-machine hybrid learning systems. The conference featured 13 parallel sessions conducted in a hybrid format, bringing together professors and young scholars from around the globe to exchange insights and engage in in-depth discussions. At the International Conference on Teaching and Education Management sub-forum, postgraduate student Yang Derui delivered a presentation entitled ‘When AI Meets Tradition: Reconfiguring Embodied Knowledge and Cultural DNA in Chinese Music Education through Human-Computer Collaboration’. This research focuses on traditional Chinese music education, exemplified by Nanyin, exploring the application of artificial intelligence technologies to promote the sustainable development of its preservation, inheritance, and innovation. Master's candidate Long Yu delivered a presentation titled ‘Personalisation through Machine Learning: Evaluating DeepSeek's Japanese Tutoring System in the Chinese Educational Context – Towards Technological Adaptation and Educational Innovation from a Cross-Cultural Perspective’. This research analysed the adaptation challenges of AI Japanese instruction in homophones, grammar, and honorifics based on East Asian linguistic-cultural cognitive characteristics. It proposed a dual-dimensional cultural-technological optimisation pathway, providing methodological support for AI in Sino-Japanese educational contexts.
