The Connotation, Characteristics, and Construction Pathways of the Smart Education Ecosystem

Abstract：Smart education leverages artificial intelligence(AI) to create a new educational ecosystem aimed at developing high-level intellectual competencies. It offers highly interactive and immersive teaching scenarios, expanding the teaching environment and providing personalized experiences for both teachers and students. The collaboration between human and AI teachers is becoming a trend, with students taking a more active role and knowledge supply from limited to infinite. Smart education cultivates talents suited to the AI era, promoting coordinated development with the intelligent economy and society. Efforts should focus on strengthening teachers' AI literacy, enhancing students' AI application abilities, reinforcing AI educational resources and developing AI application scenarios.
