International Higher Education, formerly known as Foreign Higher Education Materials, was founded in 1978. It is sponsored by the Research Office on Higher Education Issues of Xiamen University established by Mr. Pan Maoyuan. It was formerly called International Higher Education Research and was renamed in 2018. Currently, it is sponsored by the Institute of Education of Xiamen University and supervised by Xiamen University. Pan Maoyuan and Xie Zuoxu once served as chief editors, and the current chief editor is Bie Dunrong. This publication is an internal reference material of Fujian Province ( K No. 107), published quarterly, with 48 pages per issue. It has been continuously published for 170 issues. Its columns include higher education theory, foreign higher education, comparative higher education research, etc. It publishes the latest development overview of foreign higher education, comparative higher education of different countries or theories of higher education research, etc. Each issue publishes approximately five to six papers or translations and has a certain influence in the domestic higher education journal circle.
