Curriculum Vitae

XU Lan is Professor at the Institute of Education, Xiamen University. She also serves as Deputy Director of the Center for Aesthetic Education and General Education, Deputy Director of the Research Center for Higher Education Development, and Director of the Research Center for Graduate Education.

She currently serves as an executive council member of the young and middle-aged education theorists branch under the Chinese Education Society, an executive council member of the National Alliance of Graduate Education Research Institutions, and a member of the professional committee of the Association of Chinese Graduate Education. She has been invited as an expert for the national training program for graduate supervisors organized by the China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center. Additionally, she serves on the editorial boards of several CSSCI-indexed academic journals.

She has successfully led more than 20 research projects, including those supported by the National Social Science Fund, the Humanities and Social Sciences Fund of the Ministry of Education, key major projects of the Association of Chinese Graduate Education, and educational and teaching innovations sponsored by Fujian Province. Additionally, she has published 2 books and over 60 high-quality academic articles in the fields of graduate education and higher education.
