Personal Profile

Zhao Tingting, a Nanqiang Distinguished Professor, and Supervisor of PhD and EdD Candidates, currently serving as Vice Dean of the Institute of Education, Xiamen University. Her academic roles include: Member of the Academic Development Advisory Committee of the China Association of Higher Education (CAHE)、Member of the Professional Committee on Science and Technology Services of CAHE,Standing Director of the Professional Committee on Higher Education of CAHE.



Achievements

She has undertaken a range of national research projects, including projects funded by the National Social Science Fund of China(NSSFC), the National Natural Science Foundation of China, provincial and ministerial-level social science funds, entrusted projects by the Ministry of Education (MOE), the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education. She is currently leading the major bidding project of the NSSFC “14th Five-Year Plan”in education (2022) , titled “Research on the Construction of Strategic Scientific and Technological Forces in Universities”. She has published over 100 academic papers and 7 monographs.

Awards & Honors

She has won multiple national provincial and ministerial awards for teaching and research, such as National Teaching Achievement Award, Outstanding Achievement Award for Scientific Research in Institutions of Higher Education (Humanities and Social Sciences), National Award for Outstanding Achievement in Educational and Scientific Research. She has also awarded the title of “New Century Excellent Talents Support Program”by the MOE and a Category A high-level talent in Fujian Province.

Since starting her teaching career, she has undertaken multiple undergraduate and master's courses such as Guidance for College Students' Learning, Mental Health of College Students, Higher Education Philosophy of Higher Education, Introduction to Classic Works in Philosophy of Education, and Special Studies in Higher Education.
